We are searching for an Accountant who will record bank transactions and maintain accurate financial records across departments of the company. The accountant will manage expenditure accounts and prepare analysis for monthly reporting.

The role considers partial involvement in validation and bookkeeping contractors’ invoices.

This role reports to the Accounting and Reporting Lead.

What you will be doing:

• Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile bank transactions day-to-day;
• Manage expenditure accounts, assist in budgeting and monitoring the budgets on expense and ensure accurate record keeping across departments;
• Track company subscriptions;
• Verify contracts;
• Verify and bookkeep contractors bills and expense claims;
• Analyze BS, PL;
• Resolve any discrepancies and irregularities found in records, statements, or documented transactions;
• Support month-end and year-end close process, yearly audits;
• Perform other ad hoc tasks upon request.

About you:

• 3+ years of experience as an accountant in an international company;
• Degree in related field;
• English proficiency is a must;
• Experience with the month-end/year-end close process;
• Team-player who can also work independently;
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
• Working knowledge of accounting software like Quickbooks or Xero is an asset;
• Certification (ACCA/ CPA) is an asset;
