We are searching for an Accounts Payable Specialist who will own the AP process end-to-end from invoice verification to assembling invoices for payment and ensuring everything is paid on time.

The role considers partial involvement in bank transactions bookkeeping.

This role reports to the Accounting and Reporting Lead.

 What you will be doing:

  • Manage accounts payable process;
  • Verify and bookkeep supplier bills and expense claims (including contractors bills);
  • Verify contracts;
  • Assemble and review bills for payment;
  • Ensure bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Manage expenditure accounts, assist in budgeting and monitoring the budgets on expense and ensure accurate record keeping across departments;
  • Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile bank transactions day-to-day;
  • Reconcile supplier statements;
  • Support month-end and year-end close process, yearly audits;
  • Perform other ad hoc tasks upon request.

About you:


  • 3+ years of experience as an accountant in an international company, preferrably as AP accountant;
  • Degree in related field;
  • English proficiency is a must;
  • Experience with the month-end/year-end close process;
  • Team-player who can also work independently;
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively across the organization
  • Working knowledge of accounting software like Quickbooks or Xero is an asset;
  • Certification (ACCA/ CPA) is an asset;
