Are you a creative and driven professional with a passion for content marketing? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to lead our B2B content marketing efforts as the Director of Content Marketing. As a critical member of our Marketing team, you will be crucial in establishing the HomeBuddy brand within the home improvement professional community. This role will collaborate with multiple departments within the company (Sales, Marketing & Senior Management). Your job will be brand-building through various content efforts, demand generation, and preparing content for the Sales team and tradeshow attendees. In this role, you'll collaborate with our partners to create cross-promotional opportunities (podcast appearances, guest posting, webinars, etc.).


The Director of Content Marketing will play a vital role within the Marketing team, directly reporting to the VP of Digital Marketing.


We are seeking an experienced content marketing professional with a proven track record in building/leading a brand's content strategy and/or demand generation through content efforts. Please note that the SEO background is optional as most content/promotions will be distributed via paid media and cross-promotions.

What you will be doing:



  • Developing a B2B content marketing strategy, with the goal of maximizing brand awareness, and bringing new business (clients) to HomeBuddy;


  • Develop content for various marketing channels, including but not limited to PDFs, social media posts, email drops, webinars, podcasts, trade shows, scripts, quizzes, industry reports, scorecards, checklists, etc.


  • Collaborate with the copywriting team to create persuasive content that aligns with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.


  • Manage content distribution across multiple advertising channels, social media and cross-promotions;


  • Build relationships with thought leaders in the industry, and explore marketing opportunities through their medium;


  • Organize cross-promotional opportunities with existing clients, partners or thought leaders (guest posting, webinars, podcasts, etc.)


  • Develop content for lead nurturing and retention of our existing clients;


About you:

  • At least 3 years of B2B content marketing experience
  • Proven track record in content strategy, content creation and effective distribution of it
  • Able to show multiple examples of content you created that was highly engaging for your target audience
  • Experience collaborating with copywriters and designers to oversee the entire lifecycle of content creation, from inception to production.
  • Ability to build & own the comprehensive B2B content strategy as well as generating/repurposing content;
  • Proficiency in utilizing diverse content distribution channels, including social media, LinkedIn, email marketing, etc.
  • Fluent in English
